FAMILY UPDATE FROM VENTA CARE CENTRE

To our Residents and Family Members

We would like to inform you that over this weekend we have been declared on a facility Outbreak.

At this time (letter sent) Venta Care Centre has 5 staff members that have tested positive for COVID-19 and 3 have recovered.

There are 27 Residents who are positive and 5 who have recovered.

All units are currently affected. Families with positive loved ones will be notified and updated by the Unit Manger.

If you are not contacted, your loved one is not affected. Please do not call the nursing at this time to inquire as our team is working diligently to keep all Residents safe.

At this time, we are allowing visitors, however, we are encouraging that only one designated visitor visit at a time. The visiting hours are 11am-4pm.

Please refrain from visiting if you have any symptoms or are feeling unwell.

Additionally, we are continuing activities and communal dining with social distancing. Residents are also encouraged to wear masks when leaving their rooms.

We continue to be diligent by rapid swabbing staff daily.
